Applicant: Who is the employer?

Yoopies is a networking platform. We do not operate as an agency and as such, we do not directly employ caregivers on the platform.

The employers on the Yoopies platform are private individuals and families looking for a caregiver.

You can choose to be:

Hired by an employer (eg. Nanny or Housekeeper). Your employer should create a contract with you, and declare your NI and earnings to HMRC.
Be self-employed (e.g Childminder or Babysitter). It is your responsibiity to create a contract with your employer, and declare your earnings and NI to HMRC.
